The 6L80E will certainly help put those gears to good use. Yeah, I have had several situations where I was in one of our 2500s (LY6, 3.73, 33s) and it didn't even have enough power on sand to bury itself; all it would do is rev to a couple grand and sit there. I can imagine the same truck minus several hundred pounds with the gearing from the 4L70E.

The fronts are 4.11 and the rears are listed as 4.10. there both 41 10 teeth so is this a problem.

It won't be like a Camaro; the truck still has over 1500 pounds on the SS. However, the L92/L9H really likes a little rpm; the gears will help it stay in its powerband and really boost your torque vs your current 3.42s.
