Default Installed ls9 cam in the escalade

Just finished having the heads ported and installing ls9 cam along with replacing all the gaskets.
So far we have s&b intake, tune, obx long tubes, and now an ls9 cam and ported stock heads.
After the retune the truck pulls like freight train! One thing to note if you're going to do this is you need a stall. From idle-3k its a dog but once it starts pulling it pulls all the way to 6500 and will break the front wheels loose shifting in second.
Great cam, sounds stock, pulls hard and only sets you back $130 for it. Of course that doesn't include everything but you get the gist. I can definitely feel the 35-40hp increase. It just needs a stall bad. I'll get a run recorded to post to show yall. If you have any questions as to what is needed let me know

Also added ssbc big brake kit and pfc carbon metallic pads. This thing stops on a dime

Yea the low end power sucks. Instead of getting a converter I just going to spray it with a 125 shot lol waiting for nitrous to get here then I'll post up a video lol. I'm still trying to find people to run.everyone laughs when I try to run them because I'm sure they're thinking "why would I waste my time on that?" And I'm over here thinking im the one wasting my time lol

Loss of low-end may just be from the heads you've installed along with a cam designed for a feather weight car

Cam sounds like a downgrade to me, with loss of low end.

It's definitely not. It's just from idle-3k. I love the cam. I usually do 1st gear pulls from 25mph and its a beast. So just loving a little from a dead stop isnt bad.

How bad did mileage suffer with daily driving? I presume pretty substantial since most cruising is below 3K
