Installed my headers...it's a book
These things fit very well, look great. I had dynatechs on 07 nnbs so i have frame of reference.
They didn't come with instructions so here are some for reference.
1. not a home job, best done on hoist
2. drop tranny xmember to remove oe cats. [ 4x4, may not be required on 2wd]
3 put on hoist, remove front wheels and fender liners. way better than climbing over
fenders and rad.
4. unplug o2's ,remove o2's and take cats down, pull plug wires, take manifolds off.
5. put headers on... from the bottom, re-use oe gaskets, better than supplied, fit ok but, passenger side, move starter cable, was against header tube, 2 front plug wires on pass side very close, pulled em back with a tie wrap.
6. no issues on drivers side
7. fit y-pipe, simple connection, but make sure drivers rear o2 wire secured -will touch front d/shaft.
8. tighten up , put xmember back up, start, check for leaks, codes.
these will set code po420 [I think, cat efficentcy] because cats flow more than parameters.
need hpt or maybe Diablo or tech II to turn off light. I have HPT so I just turned off light, not signal.
9. test drive and enjoy...
these fit way better than the d/techs on 07 but d/tech may have fixed the fitment.they banged hard on my xmember and i actually had to notch out xmember to make them fit.
again, not dishing d/tech they probably have fixed fit.
took about 3 hours but i was very careful of wires etc and made sure i did a neat job.
short test drive , sound great except for fart sound when dod kicks in/out
I had the truck rust protected the day after i put the headers on, some overspray on them, hence the discoloring

I like em...again, not dishing d/tech but these fit.
someone will pipe in about the price but if you want direct fit, and SS without hacking
stuff up like pacestters, that's the deal. [pacetters don't fit 4wd nnbs]
I have a welder and a pipe bender but would rather have direct fit on my new truck.

Nice write up and glad to hear that they fit so well. I was worried that no one made a direct bolt-in long tube system with high flow cats for the NNBS yet, since I am looking to pick one up in the near future.

no testing, seat of pants tells the story.
truck starts with 367 crank hp,
add catback 10hp?
headers/cats 20?
good tune 30hp plus much better drivibilty, shifting, throttle response
cai 0 hp? don't know but looks good
realistically, add everything together and I should have added 40-60 hp
but the tune is the key to waking them up and working better. imho
truck runs very well, sounds great and still gets the same mpg as stock.
shifts to 2nd gear at 60mph kick down and takes off hard, throttle reponse is
immediate at all rpms/gears, no pe delays or waiting to pick up rpm.
It will also spank my bud's stock 08 Denali 6.2, and being lowered will drive around him as well.
the tune on my truck was based on the tune done by the shop that Tony works at.
I copied the tune from my 07 Vmax which was done by them, it has not been optimized for headers.
