Heh, my truck was actually supposed to be the mockup last spring for those headers...until one of the guys there picked up a new tahoe. I've installed their headers on C5 and C6 vettes and they go in like they belong (either 1 3/4 or the 1 7/8ths) My boosted vette came with kooks.....my NA vette has American Racing. The difference of fit and install ease in favor of the American racing is unbelievable. I can remove the starter and not have to jack the motor up with teh american racing, kooks.....luckily every time they've had to come out the motor has as well. They're not cheap, but they make great quality products.

I'm glad you're seeing good results, I might have to give nick a call now that they're done and I haven't BS'd with them since the summer....might need to throw a set on the suburban...

again, not dishing d/tech they probably have fixed fit.
Dynatech acknowledged the problem and fixed the headers in November due to this. All new headers from them easily clear the cross member.

Allgonoshow.. you think with proper tuning you can get rid of the farting sound when engine swtiching between v-4/v-8??

did d/tech have the same issue?

the only tuning that will fix it is turning off dod,
d/techs make the same sound, any of the louder cat backs will make a
noticible sound change when running in 4cyl mode and switching fronm 4 to 8, or 8 to 4.

it is a bit annoying

so the 'farting' sound comes only in the process of shifting between v4/v8? or does it stay there when on v4?

which do u suggest for a quiter ride?
right now I'm planning the factory cat as it is

thx

the fart noise occurs when switching to and from v4 mode.
it you install a cat back and no headers, it's not too noticeable.
magnaflow and corsa both sound good to me

I say go with ARH or wait for pacesetter If you want a budget headers. As for the tune anyone in UAE will tune but stay away from chipcentric If you are in dubai I heard bin3ougad is good but see the offer first.

uae formula costs 2000dhs and every retune 500 or 1000 dhs not worth it

Bin3ougad maybe 1700 DHs

If you are in sharjah I will take you to a good tuner in ajman Redline garage
thats where I tuned they charge 1500 If stock engine If modified engine or you have a 6speed add 500 dhs. Pm me If u want my Number

Sorry for going off topic guys.

and btw you dont need the v4 and v8 mode I see letting it v8 will save more gas. If you worry about the Fuel toomuch

Actually $$$ is not problem.. my comment earlier was about how much HP I get for the cash

What I am looking for is a quality setup of headers with a nice roar
