installing Air/Fuel, Boost, and Fuel Pressure gauges

Default installing Air/Fuel, Boost, and Fuel Pressure gauges

Im installing all electric gauges
Auto Meter 4776, 4763, and 4778
I have a few questions. Pics would be great.
On the boost gauge how do you have it set up? Were do you have the MAP sensor mounted and can I just use rubber vacuum tubing? I dont want to use that white nylon tubing. I think it would look more stock with rubber. its only 6psi.
on the Wide band af were did you mount yours?
on the fuel pressure how did you mount the sensor?

For the boost gauge, I used normal rubber hose. That nylon crap apparently kinked somewhere, I hooked it up and didn't get a reading. I then hooked it up using normal vacuum hose and it was perfect.

A/F gauge, do you mean where do you mount the sensor? If you're going turbo, the wideband is in the downpipe right after the turbo.

Fuel pressure, easiest way to do this in my opinion is to pick up an adapter for the fuel rail, I used one made by Caspers Electronics. You remove the stem from the schrader valve, screw on the fitting, and it converts it to 1/8 NPT for use on nearly any gauge. The part # is 107133.

thanks. Im installing a Magnuson TVS1900. on the o2 sensor It said as close to the head as possible. Im only running 1 so it will be after the y pipe. I haven't looked at my exhaust but does it have a rear o2. on my 08 it could be turned off. If my 6.2l has a rear o2 could i put the wb o2 in that hole and turn the rear o2 off.

Put the Wideband sensor in the Y pipe or collector on the drivers side.

it has to go infront of the cat for sure, if you dont have cats, anywhere after the merge will work.

i have 3 cats one on each bank and 1 after the y pipe.

why does it have to go in the drivers side? This way i would only get the left bank. and never know what the right was doing.

Because #7 is on the drivers side and its known as the "hot" hole.
