Default invisible bra?

Anyone using this stuff? A friend put it on his DD a few years ago and it really helped prevent stone chips and whatnot. Just wondered if anyone here was running it on their truck and where you bought it? Brand etc?

Not using one personally, but think they're a good idea, especially for the bumper bar on our trucks. Friend of mine was looking at a 3M kit for the area around the hatchback of his car and for one pre cut sheet I think it was close to $200.

I was thinking for the leading edge of the hood and the bottoms of the rocker panels and behind the rear wheels. Those spots get battered to hell up here in the winter time with all the salt and gravel.

I just bought some precut 3M stuff on ebay. Leading edge of the hood/fenders and bumper cap kit. It's is expensive, but I figure I'll be glad I have it.

I'm just a little apprehensive about the install. I sucked at putting this stuff on my touchscreen phone....

nope, common on luxury cars and dealers are starting to promote it.

has to be installed right, after a few years will need to be replaced.

Default Clear Bra

I have used this type of a product for several years on my Corvette. So when I bought my 2010 GMC I had it applied to it. I had the product applied to the front, 1/4 of the hood, the backs of the mirrors, the A pillars and about about 5 inches of the roof. I did not put any on the lower portions of the truck because I installed GM mud flaps. After 10000 miles I have no rock chips. Lots of info on this subject on the Corvette Forum. www.corvetteforum.com There are some concerns about material type and install procedures discussed there. I utilized a company is Las Vegas called PRO-TECT http://www.pro-tectfilm.com/ The product has been great. The site has some good info. Bottom line: Buy a quality product and use a good installer.
