Oh, got it. Looks good, for sure! I honestly think color matched bumpers should be at least a dealer option, not just the color matched grill. I would have liked to get mine in all black.

 

He said he has painted chrome bumpers before, i think some guys on here have done it too, that one dude with the silver ec 6.2 did it i believe, stangkiller? I think........

Is it pretty durable? My truck is no mallcrawler. What kind of prep does that require?

 

I got my chrome one painted by a pretty reliable paint shop and it looked great. But it wasn't durable at all. I backed into a snowbank once and it chipped right off, I feel like mine will scratch twice as easy as the paint on the body.

Match.. Mines pretty durable has a few scatches and I still manage to take them off.. Still looks fresh..

 

LMC Truck Parts is showing paintable rear bumper end caps $129.95 each side. Lookat there catalog page 26 of1999 - 2010 parts. They have alot of parts for GMT900 I first saw iast 30 days. I believe its repo but lots less than GM . Have used some parts in past for early 2000 trucks fits fair but may have been just a bad experience on my part, Trying to fix up bent front end(grille and headlight bezel parts) Also saw tailgate lock kit $59.95 if your truck doesn't have it.
