man!!! sorry to hear that bro. i was just gonna reply that i ran a 14.8 w/ headers no cats, pulley, tune, cai. 22's w/ the big 305/40 tire.

did u have GAP insurance??? i hope u did

Yea I have gap and all that bs. Truck is only 3 months old and I wasnt upside down so I probably wont even use the gap. It was definately a fuel related fire just not sure what the hell went wrong.

You sure you got all the tranny cooler lines back in properly? We've had some members here who had fires because of tranny lines coming off.

Get one, they're very cheap (under $15) and it very well could've saved your truck. I think EVERY member on here needs to go out and buy one.

If I had to bet I'd say the tranny line blew off. Just the proximity to the converter change makes me think that. How fast did you notice the fire?

But now you're out of a whole truck instead of maybe a new wire harness, engine cover or anything else minor that would've been on fire.
