Leather for my '10 Silverado RCSB, from Katzkin, was $750 for the kit and $250 for install. It's just the Katzkinbase leather, still nicer than OEM leather though

Does katzkin send out little swaths of clothe for you to decide what grade of leather you want? These katzkin kits look really good, I think that's the way to go. They're not that hard to install. I've read if you lay them out in the sun for a little bit they slide on much easier. I rode in a 2012 lml this weekend and was unwhelmed with the feel of the seats.
If new oem seat pads can be had for a decent price I think that would be a good investment too, just don't have a clue where you'd get them.

Post some pics of your interior... Also wanting to do the same thing as the difference between my leather and the GM vynal seems to be almost none. The factory "leather" straight up sucks. Like I honostly would pay the extra $$$ to have real leather. I know katzkinz has really stepped up there game with quality and materials but also interested to see what else is out there. I want real luxury seats that I hav to condition every day lol.

That looks great.
Still to many performance mods planed but someday I think a nice two tone leather setup would look hot in my truck
