will these headers with cats still throw a code??? i thought i remember reading somewhere that even with the cats they still get a code for post cats

No, they don't. I worked my way around it by getting a cat-back that fits 07-08 trucks instead of the 09+ connection. I didn't want to leave it up to someone else.

But, I saw this picture posted in another thread about Kooks and the 6.2... It clearly shows a different Y-pipe although no site ever mentions it. You might try PM'ing John Deere Racer, it was his thread they were posted in and he has a 2010 6.2

Can't speak for the Kooks, but my ARH cats set cat efficiency codes for both banks after a couple of "trips" - P0420 and P0430.

the kooks on mine are for an escalade


the cats do set codes.

Hmm, I think I like the Y on the Kooks better than the ARH. That's the first time I've seen a pic of the Kooks Y posted.
