I think thats the crank sensor for the reluctor wheel on the crank.....i know that cam sensor is on top behind the intake manifold.....it wouldnt be hard if you took the starter off to gain room to work...its a plastic sensor with an o-ring....

Replaced the crank position sensor today. Said all the oil at the rear of the engine was from that leak. We'll see.
Best part. I waited for 45 min for the rental company to show up this morning. Not the dealers fault. But, they made me late for work. Called me at 1130 told me to come get the truck. I got there at 1pm only to see someone driving off in my truck. I followed him, watched him sit in the drive through, then watched him go park in my truck to eat his lunch. I went over and ripped him a new one. He apologized for it. They didn't really care, offered me a free oil change (I change my own oil). Truck smells like onion rings and has greasy food juice on the console and they cost me another 30 min in waiting. Oh well, hopefully I don't need a next time.

What all do they have to do to reach/replace that crank position sensor?
How many days did it take them to fix that?
Is it still not leaking?

The CPS o ring seal caused oil to leak down the block past the starter. That took them a couple hours.
The other leak, they blamed on the rear cover, which I assume came loaded with a new rear main. That caused oil to come down between the engine and trans. They had to pull the trans to repair. They had it overnight.
Been oil leak free for about 3k miles now. Power steering still leaks though
