Ok, I've searched and searched and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I bought a '13 6.2 4x4 sierra and I have plans of doing a whipple/ Maggie or some top end supercharger, arh longtubes, blower cam, supporting mods ect. So far all of the mods have been appearance mods. 2.5" level, 1.5" body lift, denali front, rear fender liners, amp steps. My question is what is the lightest wheel/ tire combo in 20x9/10 and 33/12.50 I can run? I'm sure my factory 20's are heavy and I'd like to not get too much heavier than what's there now. any insight is appreciated.

 

i think those wheels look great. i would keep them. i run the bfg all-terrain and it is great on the street and does good off road. the truck isnt a hard core offroad truck or anything. just pulling campers/atvs into offroad parks and such.

 

Going 10 ply the 33" tires get hefty
I ended up picking up some light weight american racing wheels and picked the toyo open country II in 285-55-20 32.8" tire tipping the scale at 59 lb a tire
Has enough tread to be an aggressive AT tire performs well with a great warranty
The 33 mud grapples are 96 lbs each
To save on weight the two and 3 piece wheels are the lightest and also the most expensive

I agree with Stew, I like those factory wheels , they look killer .

 

I put hd leafs in the rear so it rides kinda like **** but before I put them on it rode great. I may take em off soon. Thanks for the compliments. Anyone know what the stock wheel or wheel/tire combo weighs?

 

I have those same wheels on mine and used to run a 3" level and 06Z71 block in the rear with LT33x12.50x20 Toyo Mud Terrains and they were freaking boat anchors.

Took all the lift parts off and put on 2" drop spindles, did shackles and block delete on the back, same wheels and 275/55 Coopers and it is worlds better... Just sayin...

I believe the 20" novakanes are low 20 lbs. I know my old 20x8.5 rockstars where 34 each. Toyo a/t, nitto terra should be pretty light for a 305/50

 

I don't think they're anywhere near that. I had a buddy who had them with 305/55 nitto' sand they were heavy AF!!

 

No offense to anyone cuz I have seen some sweet looking lowered trucks but my manhood will not let me lower a truck.
