I run a 33.25 tire 26's there's videos on here of my rpms cruising at 70-75mph. I will post when I get home if need be. I have an 08 CCSB w/ 4.8. I also have 4.10's with stoking G80. I can go5-8 days on a tank and I drive 27 miles one way to work. I love my 4.10s and my 3200 stall. Good MPG for heavy *** rims, awesome take off with converter and all around great driving

There's gonna be a significant difference between the OP's setup and mongooseboy's; OP is on factory-sized rubber, so I would think that 3.73s would likely offer the best tradeoff. For performance, I would definitely suggest 4.10s with the baby LS under the hood, but I don't know for sure how well that would jive with your efficiency goals. If it was my truck it would be 4.10s at least, but then again fuel mileage isn't my number one priority, as evidenced by my CCSB 4x4 3.73 6.2 combo LOL.

i say it depends on how much performance gain you are going for. 3.23s suck period imo unless you ride on really flat roads. and on long trips, you are going to hit hills where the truck will downshift alot. i used to take mine on several 1500 mile road trips and i get almost the same mpg with my 4.10s that i did with 3.23s. if i keep it around 75 i get prolly 1 mpg less. no big deal bc it was totally worth the performance gain i got. if your tires are 31s or larger i say go 4.10s for sure. my tires are at 30.5 on 22s

Sorry about late reply man got a wedding to DJ and its been taking allot of off time. Anywho here is a video of me getting on the on ramp at about 1/4 throttle. Remember i have a 3200 stall, but same set up. 4.8 CCSB with 4.10's and 33.25 overall diameter tires. My stock 17's are only about 200rpm difference.
