Long tube header question
This fall I'm going to install a set of ARH 1 7/8 longtube headers. Now I know that when installed they will throw a CEL for the rear o2's and I will have to go in and shut the O2's off with the tuning software, but my question is will my truck pcm show a ready state if plugged into a state emissions machine? I just want to make sure I don't screw myself by installing these and not passing a emissions test. Thanks for any insite and reply's.

Well Oregon isn't the energy capital of anything, but the weather inversions make for some very bad breathing days. They started the testing in 1975 in two pretty large areas around the cities with the problem.
Oh well, oh well ... just gotta deal with it.

I was testing in Harris county (Southeast texas) from 2003-2007. The only vehicle in the state of texas that get a two year emission sticker are new vehicles, other than that its every year here.
