don't get me wrong guys.....I'm with you on the gearing. I should've, would've, could've on my old truck just didn't keep it long enough. I ordered the max trailering package this time around and I don't remember being able to get the 4.10s. There are way too many people around here that lift their trucks 6 but leave the 3.42 gears in it with at least 35" tires on them. Do they not realize that they're killing their rides....apparently not. I've had several people ask me why I didn't try to go with taller tires. Mine work out to 32.6" I believe 18" wheel....I just want it to still have plenty of power

Also could you not get someone like Richmond to make a set of 4.30 gears? How much would it run?

Yeah 4.10s are only available in 2500 and 3500 trucks. 4.30s are available for the 10-bolt, but the 6.2 trucks don't have a 10-bolt.

To clarify, the only factory 1500 gear options are 3.08, 3.42, and 3.73. The aftermarket offers 4.30s, but only for the 10-bolt.
