lower front valance

Yeah, 3.73s, 285/70R17s, and a leveling kit. Filter, M.I.T., tonneau, and a tune are all on the way and should help a bit with the fuel economy. I should have all that done (plus a muffler swap for more character ) within a couple weeks.

tires gears and driving style i think are playing a part for ya! if i drive normal, not nice and not hard, i see about 16.8-17. i have to make a point for less city driving and to drive nice, 65-70 and never more than a touch on throttle, to see those 18-19 numbers.

Those are my playing nice, drive like a grandma, highway only miles. My normal commute and daily driving averages out to 11.8 every week. Sure I could baby it around all the time and stay mid-to-high 12s around town and maybe 15 on the long trips, but what's the fun in getting a 6.2 with 3.73s if you aren't gonna get on it once in a while? I honestly don't really try to hypermile it anymore, but 15 is about as good as it will get for a full tank. I'm pretty sure that there was a wind at my back or a downhill advantage when I was over 16mpg, because I haven't seen a number like that since. I've talked to a lot of other guys who said they noticed a big difference just after adding the taller, fatter tires, so it doesn't bother me. As long as I gain performance with no loss in fuel economy after my bolt-ons, I will be happy

I am leaving today on a 1600mile road trip for vacation.
I am wishing i would have kept my stock 20's instead of trading for 22's.
The most i have seen straight highway since the change is 19's.
I'll post up some good #'s and try to remember to remove the lower valance on my way home.
Not trying to hyjack thread but since i am driving that far, i figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out.
