Guys help i want to order something this week .. but will the front clear my wheels ?

There is a guy on GMFULLSIZE that has the same size tires and the McGaughy's 4/6 and he has no problems. I used to have the McGaughy's kit on my titan 2/3 and had no issues and the kit was quality imo.

Check mcgaughys site about their steering geometry. They have a patented design on their drop spindle which maintains stock angles: no bump steer, no excessive wear of ball joints and no alignment issues. Other companies have tried to copy their design and have been taken to court for patent infringement. Ive been running a 4/6 kit on my truck for almost two years with zero issues.

Hollis1 you think you can run a 24 on the 4/6 drop with no issues, in your opinion? I think it woouldn't have any issues, but seeing you have that drop already on 22's i would like your input.

i don't think you will be albe to go lower than 3/5 are 3/4.5

litre the reason I asked is because there are some members saying they have 24's on these drops using a 305/35/24. I called McGaughy's and they say with the 4/6 drop your overall tire diameter can't be more than 31" I don't know what is the tire diameter of a 305/35/24. Any info would be helpful.

Slo scooter, to answer your question, no. i dont think that i could fit 24's under my truck w/out rubbing like hell. i have ran 305 35 and I have 285 35's on the truck now in a 22R tire. There is approx a 1 1/2" of clearance front and rear now. My personal preference was to not run 24's due to the fact that they are huge, would affect performance and wanted my truck low. I just did a C notch / air bag kit in the rear which lowers and raises the truck about an inch in both direction. cant do that with 24's either. (needed for towing the boat) Hope that helps.

Thats some good info Hollis. By the look of your pic it looks like you have more space than 1 and half inches, but thats the reason I hate pics, it's hard to judge things like that. I guess I will have to do 22's then. I really want the 4/6 drop to get as low as possible but think 20's would look to small. Thanks for the input Hollis and litered.
