If you don't mind me asking how much were you out for lowering it? I'm looking for the same drop you got it looks perfect.

try this link...for spindles 295.00, shackles were about 50 bucks

im sorry but i think 4x4 should go up and 2wd should go down...IMO...

yeah, that would be the typical change .. but why be normal.
I like a low, tight, compact ride, and my low 4x4 definitely handles and rides like a dream
and I like the look, even took the 4x4 badges off.

Here in Western PA, I need the traction of 4x4 for driving in the snow. However, I prefer the look of a lowered 2wd, but they just aren't as practical for driving in winter conditions. The way I see it, lowering my 4x4 gives me the best of both worlds...and since I have absolutely no interest in or need for off-road driving, lifting the truck would be useless in my situation. Now, I would agree if you said the Z71 package was a waste of money in my case, but I didn't have much choice. I wasn't able to order the truck because I bought it during GM's crazy model year end incentive blitz...and good luck finding a truck on a dealer lot in this area that doesn't have the Z71 package.
