Lowering vs Warranty

Lowering vs Warranty
I have a 2010 Silverado CC, and was thinking for a 2WD it sits a "little" high. I was looking at a leveling kit for the rear with 2" shackles, but want to keep a good, stock ride. "They" say a 2/4 will keep the stock'ish ride, but I am wondering what either will do to the warranty. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks.
Oh BTW, I have done a search function, and it produced little results about warranty.

You'll be fine with a 2/4. When it comes to warranty once something is modded it depends on 2 things what failed in relation to the mod done, and how willing a dealer is to work with you on it.
I just did a 3/5 on my 4x4 and honestly it rides damm good. It feels bone stock on the highway if you hit a rub board on the rode it gets a bit rough but not any rougher than my s-10 with the stock dropped sport suspension package.

I have an 08 crew cab and i recently did a 4/6 drop on mine, but with my big wheels (305/30/26) it was too much. so now i am at 3/5. warranty is no issue either. i took it into the dealer for a check engine light and they ended up replacing my cat for free. the code was p0420. catalytic efficiency. honestly though go with a good kit, i have the belltech 652sp and it rides very smooth and sporty. handles amazing for a big *** truck.
