Ah ok, I was always under the impression the actuator was on the passenger side as standard, like on the Camaro LS3 below, so when you said you flipped yours I had this idea in my head you had the actuator pointing to the driver side. All makes sense now!

hmmmm then the LS3/7 is the "right way" bc i have the LS2 and it's meant to be on the drivers side I THINK. but hmm...id love to have that engine cover that's cool...but i love having the stock 5.3 cover so it just looks like a lil 5.3
i would love to swap to a p&p LS3 intake...but that'll never happen lol

As you can see by the pictures there is no way the actuator will clear the alternator.
