as it says , i have an ls3 intake monifold and i see there is a differnce ,there is a sensor reight after the throttle body in the 5.3 moni.

so should i install it or not?

dose it riquire any programming?

what kinda of hp gains and tq loss are we tallking about?

sholud i stay with my 5.3 moni.?

that ls3 intake manifold is not gonna fit on your 5.3

ls3 manifolds have the rectangular ports

5.3 manifolds have the cathederal ports

Will not fit unless you have l92 heads and have your cylinders notched for the valves which no one will do.. there for cannot work...stay will with your truck intake

the L92/LS3 are the same heads just different valves/valve springs. your "new 5.3l is still the same heads on the 99-07 classic. there is no way a LS3/L92 head will fit on your 5.3 its not enough bore. those heads require a 4" bore or bigger to even try an work.

sell the intake or buy a 6.0 with the L92 heads

i know the heads wont fit im not that dumb...i just wonderd about the monifold i know the 799 heads ports are differant

And the 799s are 243s, not an L92 (square port) design.
