Default LS3 Throttle body on L92 tune needed??

Cant seem to find a straight answer? I know it seems to help a tad as far as throttle response, but i cant seem to find out if i install an LS3 throttle body on my 2008 Denali will it need a tune?

It may drive a little quirky without one. A tune should be done but probably doesn't have to be done.

There is one setting in the tune that can be updated for the bigger TB. It is the throttle body area conversion. It mainly effects idle.

Keep in mind, the LS3 throttle body won't work with the factory L92 intake tube. You have to go with an aftermarket tube like an the Airaid MIT or a full cold air kit.

I did the upgrade with a ported LS3 TB on my L9H and it drove just fine with out a tune for a several months before I had it tuned.

Are you talking about a factory L92 Tahoe? Rare bird right there.
