Default LS6 vs. LS9 cam?

08 RCSB. full bolt-ons, long tubes, 3:73's Doing the DOD delete and I'm looking at either of these two cams. Pro's/cons, power gains of each?

I'm not interested in hearing about custom cams. I'm looking to do a factory off the shelf cam for my DD. It will be getting a 2800 stall as well.

GO!

well the ls6 cam going from my buddy's 2006 5.3 he gained 15rwhp from stock and after the UD pulley, CAI, shortys and a retune he ended up picking 49rwhp total of 64rwhp went from 221rwhp to 285rwhp and 267rwtq idk if that helps not too sure on the ls9 but its a good boost cam

couple of the 6.2 guys picked up 40+rwhp with the ls9.

there will be another 6.2 with an ls9 here shortly.

doesn't help the 5.3 situation or numbers. soooo dunno?

That's what I was looking for. Some real world experience. Thanks! After some digging the LS6 seems the better choice of the two for what I'm looking for. The wide LSA is what would hurt me only having the 5.3.

if your only going to get a 2800 stall, I would look into a 212/218
