While this cam appears to work well, make no mistake, a custom ground small cam would still provide larger gains across the board. This is like putting the LS6 cam in the LS1...

Good way to put it...

Ive seen great results with this cam in a 6.2 truck with 1900s

Yeah I know, but at the deal I got it I can't refuse!! Would love a custom ground cam but maybe later! Ha

Received the cam today! Now time to order the rest of my parts! I know that when this cam is installed others have used zr1 springs, I was thinking comp 918 springs....? Any reason not too? I haven't checked price on them yet tho....

I'm really thinking about comp 918 beehive springs, I would like some feedback about it. Or would you rather match the zr1 springs with it's cam....?

I wouldn't do the ls9 springs due to difference in the weight of the valves but maybe it's not an issue???
