Not true. I think it was Texas speed who put that thinking to the test. I think it was on a basic bolt-on car. And the bigger primaries didn't lose horsepower anywhere. Also it made about 10 more hp up top. It's on ls1tech.

Well I'm not a fan of Texas speed or most of the pos(t)ers on Tech. I know on my Z06 which was a bolt on car the 1 3/4 made more power over the entire rpm range than the 1 7/8's. The bigger tubes made a few extra ponies at max rpm but who drives around at 7,000 rpms all day. $.02

I'm gonna go ahead and go with the 1 3/4" Primaries.

Anybody have any fitment issues with Calspeed LT's?
