Default mech water temp gauge

where did u guys put the senser block? head? radiator or hose ?
please any pics if uv got

Don't most of the mechanical gauges have a 3/8 or 1/2" NPT sensor fitting?

I'm putting an electric water temp gauge in the back of my driver's side cyl head. Just want to know how much hotter #7 will be than the rest.

I never did get any replies just went n did the voltmeter n oil pressure gauge(mech)
Decided to stick with oem electric
Good luck let us know how it's goes tho
