When I used to work at the dealership, we would warranty them out for excessive moisture. Did lots of them back in the day.

I have a 2010 silverado.

Over the 2 years I have owned it, I have had to dry out the driver side tail light twice.

It tends to build up where the reverse clear lens is, then drip down inside the lamp.

My uncle has the same problem with his silverado as well.
