I think I got the choices narrowed down:
(14'' to 18'' in case length)
Magnaflow
Borla xr1
Dynomax Ultra Flo Welded

I am thinking about having exhaust dumped after the rear axle too.
I want something not too damn loud, but not too quiet either.
Thanks!

What's your opinions on these?

Nothing rear of the cats will void your warranty. That means the resonator is up to you. 6.2s have a factory 3.5" exhaust. If you have a 5.3, stick with 3". Dumping one of the mufflers on your list might be a little louder and drone more than you're looking for due to reverberation off the pavement. A lot of the milder dumped systems use a bigger muff. Maybe angle it slightly to the left without coming all the way out behind the tire? I still haven't decided on my exact setup but I will be keeping my factory axle back just to keep that factory 6.2 look.

Hooker Aero chamber here.

Sounds awesome, and distinctive.

On my silverado I had Dual 10 series Flowmasters (bring the bash). I had them take the resonator out, and it was pretty roudy, but OK with me. Inexpensive, and it sounded like a V8...

Then again I came from a 2000 SS Camaro with LT's, no cats, no emissions, an X-Pipe, 2 Bullets, then Dumped there. That car was really roudy.

It comes down to personal preference really man.

On the sound spectrum it is open right in the middle, and the Polished version is a tad bit more quiet as well. Good luck on your choice.
