Default My 1/4 mile time at SGMP

I ran the truck for the first time on Saturday during the day with 70* weather. Truck has 3.42 gears, BB Tune, Airaid MIT, 32.8" tires, & 22's. it was extremely fun and the new Ecoboost's are no joke! Anyway, the truck ran a best of 15.7 with a nasty 2.5 60'. Every run I made had a passenger, so that added a little weight, plus the stereo system & spare tire was still there. Just need long tubes, gears, & some DR's on different wheels & I think high 14's are possible.

Cool, that's pretty healthy for a stock 5.3!

Roger that - especially with those gears and tall tires!

Dammit I want a 6 speed auto...took an engine swap to get in the low 10's with a RCSB, then took gear swap in to get in high 8's on 1/8 mile.

Not bad. My best on my 2009 5.3 CCSB 4x4 was:
60'...2.352
330'...6.539
1/8...9.957
1/8 mph...71.75
1000'...12.925
1/4...15.443
1/4 mph...89.52

Ran in 4wd because it would hop too much if I ran in 2wd. I was not at full weight with the tailgate and rear seats removed though.

Edit: my time wasn't at sgmp, just giving a comparison of 5.3l trucks
