My new 08n gmc Texas Edition

I believe its Z60 (Z65 was a typo), just look in your glove box or on the window sticker.
There is no lifted or lowered suspension on the GMT 900s currently. The different suspension packages get you different shocks/sway bar setups. The Z65 lists as just adding a 36mm sway bar. The Z85 is 46mm monotubes with 34mm swaybar. The Z71 is the Z85 with different bump stops. The base std suspension RPO is Z83 w/ 35mm twin tubes with a 32mm sway bar.
The GM site doesn't mention anything about spring rates. Ride height is not different between suspensions.

I have a Z82 & Z85. The Z85 is heavyduty/ handling pkg. I spec'd that.
I have my orig. w/ sticker, & somewhere, a brochure on truck w/ details on susp. offered. I hang on to that stuff. Hope that helps.

The Z60 did not carry over from the the GMT 800, they just reused the RPO. The GMT 800 Z60 has a torsion bar front end. The GMT 900 Z60 has a coil over front end.
You are correct on the Z71 being available on 2wd and 4wd. FWIW, the GMT 900s all use the same front suspension now, the 4wd trucks get a differential and half shafts where the 2wd trucks have open space.

SS, appreciate info. I don't pay attn to susp. update/ change since I'm not in mkt. for a NNBS. I'm more aware of cosmetics change. I'm they left the RC out in the cold on A6. They should offer it across the board, they're just givin up mkt share IMO.
Them new ones are runners tho!
Sneeze & they're in the 13's.
