Nitto makes a NT404 275/60/18, nice compromise of height/width if you can find a set if of good looking 18's which is the biggest prob. I did reasearch for days on this same topic when I had my old truck. Drop then tire selection will be your best bet, just don't do the 275/55 lol

I had a set of these on my old 20" rims on my last truck and they were a great all around tire.
ZEON LTZ - OnlineTires.com

Or these for a more sport/summer tire

I don't understand whats so wrong with this tire size? Same as factory just 3" smaller. You thinking its going to be to short of a tire?

+1 I'm looking for some for the track.

I thought about using them just for track use. But then it would be like i run "x.xx" on my track tires but on the street i run "Y.YY" So i figured i would just stay with the smaller tires so i am always running the faster time. So what if i don't have big flashy rims... You can look at their reflection off my truck as i pass you up.

No body cares what your rims look like when all they see are your tail lights.
