Wouldn't the tub be more of an obstacle to run a bigger tire?
The width of the diff could be adjusted via wheel offsets-unless you already have your rims...

The more you narrow the less backspacing you need. As that happens. The leaf packs, tubs, frame get in the way. The only real difference is selection of rims you can run and how much "lip" the rim will have.

Mine is narrowed 3" ea side with a 15x10 4" backspacing. Sits nice with the lip of the bed. A narrower tire and i'd be able to tuck them. I am going to step up to a 15x12" soon, so it fills the tires out a tad more.

Most run a 6.5-7" backspacing and some can clear a 315

I'm ladder bar setup and coil over and want to tuck a big lip wheel and a slick without hitting the edge of the bed on the outside. So I wanted to see some serious and how much they narrowed

Then the amount you narrow is the amount you subtract from the backspacing. Which then gives you X amount of lip.

Makes sense. Running bogarts with 6.5 backspace.

Basically a stock style lip. Not very much of a change from an oem wheel
