Gm does sell the nav radio as an accessory kit. Never had my paws on one but they are supposed to be complete with everything you need to install the nav deal.

This is a good question. I'm really familiar with the old Delphi units, but not so much with the new Denso ones. I suspect the Bose setup may still be the main obstacle. If you match that - basically ensuring that the deck is compatible with your system - my guess is the rest will fall into place easily. The two other variables are placement of the GPS antenna, and whether or not you want to run a VSS wire.

Over the years my go-to on questions like this has been Jason @ JP Customs. Might be worth giving him a call or shooting him an email. Good luck...

Like Jerry said you will need the gps antenna and the Vss wire to make them work and it will fit easily in your truck as long as it is from the 900 series truck

i did this in my truck. you need the nav raido, the nav disc, gps antenna, vcim/video/voice/vss harness. then once its all installed. you have to have it programmed to your truck.

im a gm tech. most of the nav units are in bose sound equipped vehicles, so if you dont have bose you will have almost no sound no matter how much you turn the volume up.

its all prety simple install. my factory harnesses pulgged right in. just had to get everyting and install and program it.

gm does no sell the vcim/video/voice/vss harness i got mine here

They have to tell TIS 2 web to replace and reprogram while navigating the options for programming. The tech probably picked the replace only option.
