OK beats the crap out of me, I took it out for an errand and when I got back threw the meter on the battery. It was around 13.8 running, all accessories off. Once the fans kicked into high speed the voltage crept up to around 14.8. Not really sure what to expect out of this setup as I'm used to non-pcm-controlled charging systems...but I daily this truck and since I've replaced the negative cable and battery it hasn't given me any trouble; previously if it sat several days I had to charge the battery but it was a 6+ year old Optima red top (as well as significant corrosion down in the negative cable as mentioned previously.)
