Need Help: gauges not working
When key is turned to on all gauges go to the level they were at when they broke (At idle at a stop). Speedometer stays at 0, tach stays at 800, fuel at 3/4, Water temp at 210, volts at 14. Air bag and seat belt light stays on as well. Even the entire info center (including odometer) is inoperable. WTF.

They are cracking down on tunes and as stated in a previous thread, if found it completely voids the warranty.
However, your not going to know if they'll fix it unless you take it in.
As far as you know, the truck has never been worked on by anyone other than a dealer

They have to prove the tune was the direct cause of the failure, which in this case has nothing to do with it. Otherwise its unlawful to deny a warranty claim if the aftermarket part did not directly cause it.
if you transmission went out, then yeah youre SOL, but in this case, they should warranty it.

That's true until it comes to the PCM. I'll have to find the thread but GM just changed it's policy when it comes to retuned PCM's.
You can tune a PCM to lean way out and totally fry your engine, and then retune it to stock. How are they going to know if you made modifications that caused damage?
While I don't see how tuning your PCM can cause cluster damage, GM's new policy voids the warranty all together.
But In this case, you can fix it yourself and be out of pocket. or take it in and hope they don't check. Which they shouldn't for this problem. If they cover it under warranty, yay for you.
If they don't your back to being out of pocket.

If you want to read more on the New GM policy see the link below. But as I stated, they shouldn't have any reason to check for a tune if your just having cluster problems. The only thing I'd be concerned about is them having to hook up the Tech II to calibrate a new cluster and stumbling across the information.
Regardless. if its void its void. so no worries really, you'll either be fixed or fixing it.
