black pacestters are painted- not ceramic, they will rust and discolor and corrode
quickly.
they are 1 3/4 primaries which is ok unless you have 6 or 6.2l
3 inch collectors
to use the oe cats you need a muffler shop to cut and repositon them in the y-pipe
or make a custom y-pipe using the oe cats.

lots of people happy with these but u should move up to ceramic atleast

ceramic here! got 30k on em an they're still going strong!
you can use your stock cats...keep your stock Y pipe parts imo...just incase you go back stock.
if you're going to run cats, run a shorter muffler so it'll be louder. if you're wanting it to be quiet then run a long muffler.
for you to run your cats in the OR-y that you order with the pacesetters...your gonna catch hell. you might as well just make your own. install the headers, have a pipe go over the tranny member, put a cat on each side, run a 90 an blend it into a Y right behind the tranny member vs in front. then put your stock flex pipe in with the stock connector.

i figured i was gonna go ahead and just run it without the cats so i dont have to go through any extra ****, but i planned on runnin a single 3inch all the way back, is that the best way to go?

yes sir...get a custom tune to get the most outta the LTs
with my stall the 14" has to go....it takes about 1500-1800rpms to move this bus..so its too loud for traffic driving. but i love it on the interstate
