new Circle D converter installed in NNBS
I just finished my 3k converter install today and it makes take-offs much more fun. It drives pretty good, did not change tune yet. I do wish it was a tad tighter around town since I have alot of hills around here, but I can live with it. Need to install my tranny cooler yet. This may sound crazy, but I may have Nelson actually lower my lock-up speed. I think stock is ~41 mph. I may make it ~37. I do alot of low RPM luggin' and I'm just below the lock-up. Let me know what others think? I am going to remove the last 20% TM, up part throttle shift firmness, and raise WOT shift points to 5900/5800.

I was hoping it wouldn't spin as high tooling around town, not in lock-up. But, it's not that bad. I want the lock-up speed down some, because most of my to/from work, store, etc... is at ~37-40mph. Below the lock-up speed. I would like to lower that speed some, to engage at my ~"tooling around" speed. I think I will firm up the part throttle shifts.

Your 3rd gear lockup speed will probably suit you better for driving around town. Try driving around town in 3rd instead of overdrive, and see how it does. Of course, I'm assuming your tuner didn't remove your 3rd gear lockup settings.

No go with 3rd gear in town, still surges up/down ~200 rpm's. Assuming this unlocking/locking. Also does as stated in 4th. can't get a good solid lock-up until about 60mph. I need to send my PCM's back to Allen for a retune. Just not quite sure what to ask for. Lower my lock-up speeds for 3rd/4th, and adjust to hold in lock-up while under a little more pedal than it does now?
