New drop questions-- Help
I need you guys input on this. I installed my mcgaughys 2/4 drop today on my 2008 rcsb. I used spindles up front and leafs and shackles out back leaving the stock block. My thoughts were that since the truck sat about 3 inches higher in the rear stock lowering it 4 and the front 2 should still have a slight rake with the rear being 1 inch higher. Correct? Well when it was sat down off the lift the rear was actually about 1/4 of an inch lower than level. thats more than 5 inches right? It initially sat firmly on the bump stops and with about an 1 1/4 of the bumps removed it barely clears. Is this normal? How much bump stop should I leave? Remember this is with the block left in and stock shocks. Maybe I can move to the second lower hole in the shackles for a 1 inch raise but that would only amount to about a 1/2 inch at the axle. Thoughts?
