Default new to forum want to introduce myself

I'm new here been wanting a nnbs for a long time but just waiting till the right time I had a 2000 k3500 4x4 crew cab long bed but getting 8 mpg driving 50 mile each way ever day was not working.
so as a early birthday present my wife bought me a 2008 scsb w/t ls with the 4.3
wishing it had the 5.3 but I'll swap in the future.
PO how ever did love chrome you will see in the pics.
these pics where taken the day I got to pick her up.
got alot of work cut out first thing is I'm dropping her a lot lower than she sits.
my plan is a 4/5 or 4/6 drop on oem rims and tire for now then some 12" alpine type r if I can make them fit lol very little room.
starting this weekend removal of all this chrome.
give me some ideas guys on what I should do.

I got to do my first thing to the truck today thought I would post.
I have been looking for a subwoofer box for this truck since I got it and it seems that these single cabs don't really have many options with the limited space.
I did not want to give up my jack location or my center seat belt which made it harder because the only box I did find I talked to the company and the seat is one thing that had to go.
but today got everything done and I think it came out great hits nice and quality is excellent.
4 - 10" diamond audio subs.
and a 1200 watt diamond audio amp.
here are some pics for everyone.
and it is dirty now I just got it from the audio shop so have to clean up the dust.

I was talking to a couple other guys in another thread I have one that is running the same set up as I"m thinking he said he has not had any problems but if I notice there will be a problem with height of tire then I'll get a bit lower of a profile until I can get the rims.
thankss for the heads up though.

thanks for the welcome and yeah I wanted 12s so bad because that is what I always thought was the best for bass etc. thats what we ran back when I was younger.
me and the shop where talking and he explained to me that generally a 10 has a quicker more crisp response than a 12 of course I said but they can't hit thatt hard since there so small ( me being dumb and still living in the 90s ) he laughed and said no that 2 10s has more surface area than 1 12" and he said that I would think that I had 2 12s back behind the seat he was right except my last two 12s audiobahns I had did not even sound this clean or thump this nicely.
