Default New here

Been lurking for a while, but I finally got my dream truck so I thought its time to sign up. Last weekend I found a hell of a deal on this truck so I drove 5 hours one way from Austin to Wichita Falls to go get it.

It's a 2008 Sierra Denali with only 36k miles on it. Silver exterior, black interior, 2wd. It's super clean and you could eat off the motor.

I have a nice mod list planned for it, but the wife says I can't do anything until after we buy a house this summer.

Anyways, here are the only pics I have of it so far. Two crappy iphone pics I took in the lot right after I bought it.

SWEET! 1st thing to do is go to autozone and buy the 2" drop shackles for $33. to level out the rear! It makes it look like a whole different truck!

Nice truck, welcome to the board.

And yeah, those fender liners make a big difference on our light colored trucks. Good first purchase. Then you can start dreaming and saving, eventually modding with the rest of us.

i have some questions, since i know there are differences in the 6.2 engines depending on year model. do i have AFM? VVT? FFV? this isnt super important to know right now, just curious. it will come into play when i do a cam later though.

also, where can i find the inner fender well liners? aftermarket? gm dealer? anybody got a part number? how do they install?
