tune will wake it up a lot. what muffler(s) are you running? are you running 3" duals or 2.5"? CAI will help but not a lot, it only helps when you modify it to actually suck in cooler air. when, IF, you o with LTs i recommend buying big. these motors love 1 7/8" with mods. im running 1 3/4" on my 6.2 and its starving up top. i just cant see spending 1500 on a 102mm intake, 1500 for 1 7/8" LTs, 500-600 exhaust work. for all that work id rather put a 150 shot on it to help with the top end.
the list id do if it was my truck.
Tune
LTs/OR-y
good flowing muffler depending what you have now
converter
cam
gears
also what'd you do with your stock exhaust? wanna sell it?

this past friday my friend and i took our trucks to the track. end result his 10' cc sb 6.2 3.42 2x4 went 14.25 only has a dynomax cat back. truck normially runs 14.6-7s. my 07 ec sb vmax 6.0 4.10 4x4 went 15.18 down from a 15.71 all i have is airaide tube and filter. air makes all the diff. (temp friday night was 40 deg and we were 80ft below sea level according to his air guage.) air conditions here in the summer are 90 to over 100 and equall humidity and density. octane is a factor to... just my input
