Default NNBS 08 CAM issue!

i installed a comp cams 219-233 thumpr cam and i have the following issues!

-CAM SENSOR
-SOME RANDOM MISFIRING
-1 BANK LEAN

so the stocks injectors will get me through or i will have to upgrade the stock ones.

the truck its a little heavy between idle and 2500 aprox.. it requires a little gas to start correctly! i think its run worst than stock!

i have an appoinment at my nearest diablosport CMR for some custom tuning

you truck came with a single bolt 4x trigger cam gear . . . did you use a 4x trigger cam gear with the new cam?

random miss fire is a given

1 bank lean . . . that's from not being tuned . . . don't go out and start beating on it.

stock injectors are fine.
your truck needs to be retuned. go with EFI Live please..i dont think the Diablo programmer can do as much as EFI Live/HP Tuner, but then again im not a genius..so do as you please.

in your cam process...did you change lifters, and valve springs?
whats the exact specs of the cam. id like to know what other mods you have vs just a cam.
what motor
what gears
do you have a stall
did you put LTs (long tube headers)
did you upgrade your pushrods
just questioning the install for educational purposes.
did you go back with a 1 bolt cam an reuse your stock sprocket?
did you line your Dots up? that way the timing isnt off?

i used the stock sprocket modifying it to fit the Three bolt pattern! we use DOT to DOT to make the install, i modify it becouse im from Venezuela, here we dont have LS7s but i will order the LS7 sprocket soon!... i shoud mess with the TIMING when i get the tune.

so the random misfiring i shoud consider it normal...

in the comp cams page says it will fit stock converter. or i will need one!

My truck its a 5.3 3.73 WITH G80! with
-Edelbrock Shorties , True duals with flowmasters, deleted cats
-Throttle body spacer
-k&n intake
-125 HP Wet Nitrous kit
-not installed yet 4L60E TRANSGO HD2
-Diablosport U7194 with Lastest release Tune.

runing great on stock lifters NOT DOD lifters. and pushrods

sorry about my crappy english!

take off your throttle body spacer thats not worth anything, and if you will be doin your own tuning, i suggest you read the stickys in the tuning section

.. im just the opposite to that ! LOL! what size are the 5.3 stock injectors! and how many GPH is the fuel pump if someone knows!

and i should get a stall.. or im Ok! (if i need to get a stall, every LS 4L60E Converter should fit in my 08 nnbs)

im looking for 14s low to high 13s without NOS!

using 275 55 17 rubber

better do gears, a 3000-3200 stall, Billet servos.
get rid of the shorties an upgrade to LTs imo
do you have a reg cab? extended cab, crew cab?
i have a CC an i got 15.6 outta it with LTs, OR-y, Tune with no stall, no shift kit, stock 3:42/G80

3000/3200 stall
Billet Servos
4:10s you'll see mid 14s with a CC maybe lower

219/233 @ 50 .553/.536 109LSA is that the cam you have?
dude IMO the 109 is bad *** but not for a DD, i woulda done a 112
the .553/.536 should have aftermarket valve springs, i could be wrong..im normally wrong lol
i dunno if that cam would work best with a stock converter. id go with a 2800-3200 stall
