Question NNBS 6.2l in RCSB project

OK guys I am considering selling my current NNBS and getting a RCSB and putting a 6.2L in it and a lift with 35's. gears will be 4.56's and it will be 4x4.

What is everyones thoughts on how to go about this the right way and not cost an arm and a leg? Should I track down a V6 model and upgrade that way? is there much difference in drivetrain etc between the V6 models and V8? I want a newer NNBS so I have the newer trans already in it.

A 5.3 or 4.8 truck will be alot easier to swap but if by "newer trans" you mean a 6l80, you will be needing a 09+ 5.3 truck.

I hope yall have plenty of popcorn as this is atleast 6 months out from even starting. I have to move and start my new job first HAHA

But yes, i do want the 6L80E. I am looking for WT models right now so I will look for any high mile 09+ trucks then. maybe i will get lucky and find a fleet truck.

Are there any differences in the 6.2 in the Camaro's compared to the SIlverado and Sierra etc ones? I just want to know what salvaged engines would be an easier swap.

And the only mods that will be done to the engine is a LS9 cam and a TVS2300 with headers and full exhaust. that is it. and the blower will be the last thing to happen. This will be a daily driver, not a track truck. but it will see some light off roading!! in Florida.

RCSB 5.3 4x4 WT may be hard to come by. Any of the 6.2s will work but if you find a LS3 you won't have to wory about it having AFM lifters like some of the early L92s did.

You would either need a new harness, or get nice and cozy with the existing harness and add the necessary circuits to support an additional two cylinders, and whatever other differences there are between the 6 and 8.
