I would highly recomend you don't use airshocks by themselves under any circumstances.
1. They do not work very well as a shock, and your rear end will float alot becouse of this.
2. When you air them up to work better they lift your rear end up on the weakest part of your rear suspension the shock hangers.
3. If you hook the 2 shocks up togather on one schrader valve you will be in for a weird ride when you take corners with a heavy enough load. roughly 500 pounds plus.
Heres the only way I would ever use airshocks.
1. Keep your normal shocks, and add 2 air shocks in a quad shock arrangement.
2. Use a heavy 1/4 walled 1" diameter tubing to mount the top of the air shocks too, and keep them close to the axle and frame as resonabley possable.
3. Use 2 schrader valves. Or have a valve to shut off air between the 2 shocks.
I did this on one of my Novas with get effect when I loaded up my trunk, but my support bar was a X like shape to increase the mounting area on the unibody. Then I used two schrader valves to avoid the sway when I take corners.

When i purchased my mcgauhys 5/7 drop through a local shop they installed air shocks, i dont know if it came with the kit, and have not had any trouble with these yet. Didnt know you would have issues with airshocks.
