Default NNBS alignment issue.

I recently added 2" lower control arms to my 5/9.25 drop to give me a 7/9.25.Well unforunetly i cannot get it aligned anywhere,They said my tie rods are gonna rip out of the sockets and may break while driving.Plus my 22s that are going on with a 265/35/22 are gonna rub alot when i turn and may jam the tire. The setup inluded a 3" spring,2" spindle.2'lower controla arm.Anyone have these issues.I installed everything according to directions and and was wondering if mabey my tie rods needed to be installed up instead of down if that will help anything.but all 3 places said not much.I think im just gonna go back to original setup cause it still looked good and the 22s will make it look real good.Unless im missing something.

Even if the tie rods wouldnt bind up, I highly doubt you'll get the camber anywhere close without the longer UCA's. My 4/7 has the camber adjustment maxed out all the way. You could probably run drop spindles and 4" upper/lower arms and be fine.

is your truck rack and pinion, or the steering box and Pittman arm style, because if it is there are aftermarket tie rods that are longer/stronger that you can use. maybe look into what the lifted guys have, i have seen some pretty beefy oversized tie rods on some lifted trucks.

After picking up the truck from the shop it made sense to me what they were talking about. The tie rod end due to the 7" drop was completely grinding on the spindle and.I mabey could of used a grinder and made some extra room but the tie rod is at like a 45* angle. So i went home and put the stock lcas on and gave me alot more room,so luckily i think my tie rods are not wrecked but just have grind marks on them. Now i def have room for the 22s too.God bless all of you guys with more than 5" front drop.LOL

Check sale thread for a good deal on 2"lcas.

did you ever figure out if your axle was bent, and causing that vibration?

you should have bought the 4" DJM arm kit and put your stock coil/strut in with the 2" spindle for 6" drop, thats about max on these for static. 6/9 is about right on the RCSB since it came with a 4" rake to begin with.

Anything lower and you should invest in an air system
