Kinda curious just how quick they are in stock and Tuned/bolt on form? Right now in my 2011 im on a Blackbear tune, 3.73 gears, catback and CAI.. so very modest mods..... But ive got Pacesetter LTs, BT racing stage 3 truck cam, PRC stage 1 LS6 heads and a Circle D 3200 in boxes and not installed yet.

5.3 + boost > 3.5 + boost. But with that converter you will be very close since their biggest advantage is off the line.

Ecoboost will run mid to low 14s stock. Mine ran 13.7 on 33" tires and a bad 60 ft. With tune and down pipes.

The only two stock examples I have seen at a track ran 14.9 and 15.6. The 14.9 was when I ran a 15.4 with basically a tune only.

My buddies CAI, Headers, Tune, Converter 2010 CCSB 4x4 3.73's 5.3 will barely beat a stock CCSB FX4 Ecoboost up to 95 or whatever limiter is set at on the ecoboost. The converter is key, the ecoboost launches hard.

My 6.2 will put a hurtin on their *** but it's definitely closer than I would like. Mines just startin to breathe good at 95 once you get it wound up and no speed limiter it'll kill em everytime. I've got a maggy ready to go on but work's been to busy to do it. I was really surprised first time I encountered a ecoboost.

Well i guess they are pretty damn quick... I guess ill just do the heads/cam and the rest of the stuff i have and see where i stand against the Tuned/bolton ones i have around here. And if its not enough ill look at a TVS1900... That should do it

Pass on heads cam and do a blower with a blower cam. HC will never get you to the point a blower will and by the time you are done with buying parts all the odds and ends and tuning it you are almost at the cost of a blower and the blower will still be faster.
