Default nnbs fast intake swap ?

ive got a h/c 08 gmc 5.3 full bolt ons. im thinking of putting the fast intake on but have not heard of anyone doing it on the nnbs with the 5.3 motor. is the fast alot better than the new nnbs intake which is already 90mm. so im wondering if its worth it?

You will get a few HP but at a big loss of torque where you need it down low.

If you have a 408 with good torque then a slight loss down low may actually be beneficial to traction.

Torque is King in my books. It may not sound impressive like 650hp, but my old 454 truck could win races. Then tow my trailer home.

I actually thought about doing the same thing a while back. But when i looked into the cost, and what i would actually gain. It was just like pissing money away for nothing. You will loose torque for sure, gain hp for sure, but since you are loosing alot of low end torque you acceleration would end up the same.
