NNBS GMC HD front bumper install

No idea where you will find anything if you do.
But I'd be researching to see what brackets and mounts are different between the two model to see what you are going to need, some homework is involved. I'd look for blown up diagrams from like mitchell or alldata and see what you are gonig to need or modify to make it work.

I have done several GMC HD swaps... Nothing to it. Need the HD grille and top bumper cap. HD bumper mounts and cut the ears and re-weld them 2 inches lower. The Silverados are really easy to do since you just re drill some holes with no other modifications or fabing...

Here are the basic steps to do a GMC Sierra HD front bumper conversion. The pics posted are not mine but the ones I first went off of a few years back when I did my first swap...
First off you need the HD grille, HD top bumper cap and obviously the HD bumper. Also will need the HD bumper mounts that bolt to the HD bumper. You can use the 1500 bumper frame mounts but the HD mounts that actually bolt to the bumper have to be used.
Next what I did was mount the HD bumper mounts to the HD bumper then scored a straight vertical line on both sides of the HD bumper mounts and cut the ears off leaving the ears bolted to the bumper... What this does is hold the correct position of the ears to the mounts thus leaving only the up and down position to worry about when re welding. Makes for easier and quicker welding when positioned...
With the ears cutoff mount the other half of the HD bumper mounts to the 1500 frame mounts.
Next with a couple extra helping hands put the top cap on the HD bumper and position the bumper on the truck. The top cap will position the bumper where it needs to go height wise. You will notice the ears will be about 1-2 inches lower on the mount. When you have it all aligned up right have someone put a couple tacks on the mounts and ears... Once your happy with the alignment, pull the bumper and top cap off and finish welding the bumper mount... There is still plenty of adjustment in the mount to make fine adjustments. This just gets it close to the right height...
Once the mounts are welded up you can install the grill, bumper then top cap and your almost done... Only thing left is the side supports on the bumper. The 1500s will not be in the correct position but nothing some extra steel and a welder can't fix...
DONE!
Its really easy once you get in there and see what your working with...
Im sure others will post different ideas on how to do it as I have seen and read posts about cutting slots in the frame to flipping mounts and so forth, but this way to me gets the alignment perfect...
The Silverado HD swap is WAY easier just re drill a few holes. No welding or cutting required...
