Default nnbs intermediate steering shaft probs?

Has anyone had issues with their steering shaft clunking like the 99-07's? I believe my 08 is having this prob. Just curious before I go to the dealer.

When I drive on say a brick road or gravel the wheel has small audible tiny clunks and I can feel it through the wheel. If someone moves the wheel back and forth while I watch under the hood, I can see the steering shaft make some lateral movement before it moves the wheels. This movement is right at the end of the rubber boot coming from the firewall, just at the first coupling. Been told it is just has the old 99-07's felt when it went bad.

Well, I called the dealer to day and told them my problem. Said it feel similar to the intermediate shaft prolb form the 99-07's. Service girl said bring it in, we've been having issues like that on the new body style too. How 'bout that.

I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing some of these issues coming up now that some age and mileage are on the nnbs' I have started to notice a very slight knock/rattle/bump in my tahoe through the steering wheel. Nothing near as bad as I have felt on some nbs trucks, may have to go out disconnect it lube it and call it good for another 70k.
