I like it short. One of the things I want to build is a 99-04 like that.

 

The 6.5' bed looks best IMO. Balances out the cab well. The shorty-short bed just makes the truck look way too front heavy.

I would have bought that if I could have. Would have the wheelbas something like an old k5 or 2 door yukon.

Im a huge fan of the shorty bed and sad to see the excab shorty go. That would have been my next truck.

 

that blue truck w/ the 22'' ss wheels is mine... I think RCSB's look the best and are the best to hot rod. just pick up the latest issue of trucking or street trucks, 90 percent of the trucks are regular cab short beds. go to RGV trucks and check their **** out, they actually race, all RCSB. this is my truck w/ the winter tires on it. I don't think extended cabs or crew cabs look bad, i'd have one if my truck was a daily driver. I think regular cab long beds look odd lowered but cool lifted.

 

hope the owner wont mind me posting a pic of his truck, but i really like what hes done to his truck, this was an xcab but with my crappy microsoft paint skills i converted into a reg...

 

regular bed looks good,, the short bed looks like some stupid toy...

 

The one in post #18 doesn't look too bad, but the others seem like a toy like everyone else has mentioned.
